After 30 plus years sailing the waters and ports of Long Island Sound and Narragansett Bay, my wife and I have decided to sell our one owner, well maintained 2006 Catalina 36 sailboat, “Spritzer.” “Spritzer” was commissioned in May of 2006 by Hellier Yacht, New London, CT. Spritzer has been an especially pleasing experience as she is easy to sail, maneuver, and motor. Sailing from the upper bay to Newport and with a southwesterly wind at 18 knots, Spritzer will heel at 15 degrees close hauled and provide for an exhilarating jaunt to Newport. Upon arrival, Spritzer’s Universal M-35 and single lever control will enable you to easily guide her to a mooring or dock. On those rare occasions when it is necessary to motor her four cylinder diesel at only 2300 rpm will effortlessly power her along at six knots without the strain associated with higher revving three cylinder diesels now standard in the Catalina line.
